Days 4β6 of The HBCU Wealth Journey ππ¦
A Campaign to Build Generational Wealth, One Student and Alum at a Time
As I march forward with this campaign, I do so with a heart full of joy and peaceβand I thank God for both.
This weekend was not about emails or social media posts. It was about making sure my daughter felt seen, heard, and loved. She is my legacy, and I gave my energy to her.
I also had the chance to attend The Table Church in DC. The sermon fed my soul in a way I didnβt know I needed. Afterwards, I had lunch with a new friendβone of those connections that feels both timely and intentional. Then I returned home, back to my daughter, my rhythm, and my purpose.
All that to say: I gave myself permission to pause. To pour into what matters most. And that, too, is part of The HBCU Wealth Journey.
On Monday, it was go time again. I had several meetings, a podcast interview, and the chance to practice my pitch at the PAVA Center for the upcoming Johns Hopkins University Social Innovation Summit.
Getting comfortable on stage and working to memorize my pitch reminded me: I am built for this. This work, this mission, this movementβitβs mine to carry forward.
Weβre still pushing toward our goal of donating 50,000 Generational Wealth Kits to HBCU students and alumni. Every moment, every message, every connection brings us closer.
Thank you for following the journey.
And thank you, God, for the grace to walk it.
With love and purpose,
