Financial Joy School Helped Launch Wells Fargo Connect to More Initiative
Over a month ago, I was invited to help the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and Wells Fargo Foundation launch their new initiative to empower women entrepreneurs called Connect to More, and it was a great opportunity. At first, I was nervous because anything unknown makes me uncomfortable. So, I breathed through the newness and allowed the freshness of opportunities to motivate me over my fears.
The Wells Fargo Communication team Brittany Anthony and Amanda Halbersma, invited me to participate on a panel with Nicola Corzine, Founder and Executive Director of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, Jenny Flores Head of Wells Fargo Small Business Growth Philanthropy; and Amy Li, Founder & CEO of Dance4Healing, all amazing women.
They had a panel discussion, press release, and Financial Joy School highlighted on the Wells Fargo blog.
Every chance I get to spread the word about Financial Joy School and how we transform the financial lives of black youth and families, I will do it with a smile. Not only an opportunity to spread the word about Financial Joy School and a chance to learn and grow. I learned from some fantastic women, shedding light on how outstanding women entrepreneurs are. The inspiration and joy I felt during those events is a motivator to keep pushing no matter what.
